CB550 Cafe Racer Project
I am excited to start building a CB550 “cafe racer” style bike.
I’ll show you guys a couple of bikes it is highly inspired by…

Here is a side view of it. It’s just raw! (Not sure about the purple and pink).
I like a touch of copper – goes well with distressed brown leather seat.

I took the photo of that distressed 750!! I bought that bike in it’s original form, had it built by Dustin Kott in Los Angeles, and sold it to a guy named Don. That thing was super bad ass. I have some more photos of it if you want.

Short choose clothes method

i am going to make a cafe with a mix of a yamaha 400 special and a cb550 and some modern parts (front fork) like the red frame with polished metal tank one at the top. hopefully it will turn out just as awesom. great posts

Cafe racers where fallowed in England in early 60s in many clubs the main aim was to hit 100kmpr to te bikes where designed to hit that speed.
